Amsterdam #1 Edge Cache - Power supply and connectivity upgrade, scheduled 9 years ago

Our bandwidth provider at our Amsterdam DC will be performing a bandwidth upgrade on their routers and switches. Along with this improvement there will be a switch to a new, more powerful power circuit. The upgrade will affect our Amsterdam #1 edge cache servers which will be offline during this maintenance. The expected downtime could reach up to 3 hours during which all traffic will be automatically redirected to our Amsterdam #2 point of presence. Our team has ensured that this part of our European infrastructure is capable of taking the load of the region without interruptions or negative side effects on service performance. As such there are no expectations of service disruption or service downtime, and the redirect will be performed ahead of the maintenance's start to ensure customers which are currently downloading large files won't be interrupted in the middle of their downloads.

Global Database Unexpected downtime

During the maintenance window a bug in our monitoring system manifested itself and rendered our service inaccessible for a period of 30 minutes, during which our database was overloaded. We apologise for the situation. A patch has been pushed for testing and will be implemented in the following hours.
